At any rate, Middleton's Masque of Heroes seems to include an allusion to both Ben Jonson and his `tribe', being in fact the first known text in which these two are joined together. This is the first volume in a ten-volume series of the complete dramatic works of Beaumont and Fletcher, published under the general editorship of Fredson Bowers.
